Deerbaby's lovely photo today was about playtime, but the look of concentration on her little girl's face reminded me of one of my favourites. If I had to choose a photo to characterize C, this would probably be it. It doesn't at all capture her joyfulness or sweet nature, but the faraway, other-ness is all there.
What a darling girl. It's lovely to see her. Beautiful picture - very wistful.
